IES Gabriel Alonso de Herrera is a general secondary school with a succesful bilingual programme in English since 2009, where about 1/3 of our curriculum is taught in English. This leads us to have multiple initiatives that promote language immersion and cross-border cooperation.

Söke Hilmi Fırat Anadolu Lisesi is a secondary school in Söke, Turkey. The school takes students who show considerable amount of success in the exam given by the Ministry of Education. We have digital access for all students and teachers, and all classrooms have digital boards with Internet access.

Our partner school in Latvia, Liepāja State Gymnasium No. 1, is a secondary school of general education situated in Liepāja, the 3rd largest town in Latvia. A large number of students come from rural areas, and it is the only school in Liepāja that majors in Maths, Physics, IT, Biology and Chemistry.

Two schools have joined our project and will contribute to the contents of the App. They are both former Comenius partners and we have plenty of experience working with them. They are Hadsel Videregående Skole from Stokmarknes, Norway, and ISSS A. Greppi, from Monticello-Brianza, Italy.

Our Associate Schools

When you record a video, make sure that:
  • it is landscape (horizontal): essential as it will be shown online,
  • there is no background noise (cars, people speaking),
  • your voice is audible and clear,
  • you also show the place you are presenting, not only the person speaking!!


  • your English is correct: have it checked out by your English teacher.
When you are done with this, then you can proceed to improve your videos, by:
  • Having them subtitled: both in the English version and your home language version.
  • Introducing a front page with a title, a background jingle, the name of the authors and other relevant info.
